I’m not dead, guys!

Sorry for not being very active on wordpress at the moment since my eureka moment – as you can expect, I’ve been very hard at work. Not only with my november writing project, but with some university assignments and social projects also. Not like I’ve forgotten about you – you’ve been weighing upon my weary conscience this entire time, of course!

I feel like I owe you a bit more context for my NaNoWriMo project plot, now that I’ve gotten another 3000 words in. Still nowhere near the goal, but s’good enough for me. Having scrapped the Nebulon lineage nonsense – if you read it, you’d know how bad that was – instead for a rather weird project I’ve currently called “Nomenal”. Sounds rather pretentious, but believe me…this is going to be absurd.

To summarise, it’s a bizarre adventure through what I can best describe as fictional purgatory – a collage of incompatible characters from all sorts of genres and conventions wandering listlessly through a patchwork world. Basically, a sort of Crossover fanfiction…except we even packed in the kitchen sink. Also, I’ll actually be making most of the characters myself to avoid getting sued at this tender age in life! Can’t spoil too much about the protagonists yet – you’ll read about ’em on monday. For now, know that there is going to be a lot of internet references, unconventional dialogue, obligatory appearances of my other characters (why not make an expanded universe?) and gratuitous binturongs. If that doesn’t sell the plot to you, I don’t blame you. Give it a try, ey?

Anyway, hope you’re having a good november, writing or not. I need to take some time away from writing and suffering to check on what some of you have been producing. Apologies for not getting to it sooner! I’m going to spend all day writing my project today – let’s see if I can at least get to 10,000 words before the weekend is up!
