Hello! Has your day been alright or, as today’s prompt has requested, typical?

Don’t worry, I’m not here to post another shoddy prompt answer. I did another protagonist drawing for my novel. This time, I decided to depict perhaps one of the more aloof of my creations; Director Zeno.

Zeno here is from the enigmatic race of spacefaring aliens. Since their actual name in unpronounceable by human tongue, we’ll call them the stargazers. Living on foster planet Phlegmatis (Their own homeplanet screwed over formerly by virtual reality addiction), the residents over here have established over a matter of centuries an intensely sustainable community. This is a docerocracy – where intellectuals, especially medical experts, rule every facet of the denizens lives and where professionalism is absolutely paramount.

Zeno is the elected director of the “Bipedal xenoculture” branch – he has spent the past 80 cycles (relational years) of his life studying the footage portrayed by the Neutrino signal that the docerocracy recieved and using it for reflective purposes regarding their own culture. Being a old stoic geezer, they might not strike you as the most relatable or exciting of my protagonists, but as his life becomes imperilled by hallucinations, an epidemic and the national palliative euthanasia program, things will certainly escalate in a lively way! Besides, he’s possibly one of my better alien designs – because who doesn’t like squid-caterpillar hybrids?! (Plenty of you, I’m sure)

Hope this helps promote my narrative. It’s great fun writing and drawing these characters. In fact, I’m up to do some alien designs for other people if you’d like – for free, because my pieces really aren’t worth toffee! Bit of a niche request…but again, don’t be afraid to comment!

Have a good evening!
