A question – should I give Noumenal a break?

Hello, Hello!

I’ve noticed that this blog has been rather dead as of late, which certainly hasn’t been helped by my over-prioritisation of my serialised story “Noumenal”, which has in itself been released on a very irregular basis due to my work and recreational life. Besides, Noumenal isn’t for everyone – this blog could do with some more variety like the good ol’ days.I must confess that continually working on one thing all the time has caused a good deal of burnout, so I think I ought to benefit myself from a change in scenery.

How does that sound with you? I’ll go back to writing short stories and unrelated stuff for the next month or so in order to get things going again. Anyone got any suggestions for things I ought to do on my blog? Is a redesign in order?

    Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think you’re a uni student right? I’m amazed you can do this blog and uni at the same time. When I was going to uni, there wasn’t much time for anything else. I usually did more creative stuff between sessions or when the end of year holidays rolled around.

    If you wanted to keep the blog going, shorter pieces might be the way to go. Whether that be poetry or micro fiction, I’m not sure. Just something that’s not time consuming or labour intensive.

      Yeah! Shorter pieces might mesh with my university routine better – worked when I first began my blog anyway. Sometimes, it’s good to go back to your roots! There are so many more stories I ought to share anyway – Peter Stout can have a holiday for now.
