Took me sweet-ass time…again!

So, here it is. Noumenal chapter three…with a tidied up take on the previous chapters too.

As this story is still very much in early days, I hope you can excuse the linear plot progression: I intend to tidy this up into something infinitely more interesting once I’m through with the first draft. I’ve got a pretty big plan for characters, set-pieces and the possible future of the series already, but I’m going to see how it’s recieved first.

As for the next chapter, I should be able to get it done within a fortnight if university isn’t too rough – this next chapter will be a little longer and more action packed than the last, er, three, if this introduction is a bit slow for you. Also, there’ll be a good deal more demonstrations and explanations of the weird quirks of the setting, in case you found the whole works bewildering. Remember, though, that I’m always up to discuss any qualms or queries that you may have about this project (e.g. why I’m taking so bloody long with it) – if so, drop a comment!

Also, on a side note, I broke my blog record for most likes in one day yesterday thanks to your enthusiasm about my reading list! Know that I’m highly grateful and considering substantially improving the quality of posts as a result.
