This prompt. This prompt is awfully similar to the last one I answered. A few other people have been snarking about the quality of questions this “Bloganuary” (what kind of name is that?) – sure these aren’t AI generated or something?
I mean, in my own leisure time, I’m likely to do any of the five “fun” activities that I mentioned before: Freewriting, gaming (be it roleplay or video), art, dogwalking or baking. But I suppose you could percieve the question as my favourite passtime of this collection.
In that case, it’s probably freewriting. It’s why I made this blog. It is the surest, most entertaining way to get all my ideas on paper to gawk at. Art is much more satisfying, yes, but often entails a lot of fiddly colouring and framework which can really spoil your milk after a hard day. It sounds a bit obscene, writing to unwind after writing, but I suppose it’s a terrible habit of mine. Most of what I write isn’t shown to anyone – the shoddiness of this blog is the very testament to that – but it always amazes me sometimes what my tired mind can come up with.
Like Ivy Spy, the witch who sows her eyes to grow surveillance cameras all around her patch of woodland.
Or that really stupid Charles James Fox secret boss design for deltarune.
Not forgetting dream where I was pursued by carnivorous sheep and a monstrous Jackdaw. Some nightmares are too precious to let slip!
For all the joy I get from gaming, you can’t beat the ridiculous places freewriting takes you!
