It is 6:34 as I write this sentence. I am sniffing back a sudden, vicious cold that has kept me from university for 2 days (including today). I haven’t had breakfast, haven’t had much sleep, haven’t done anything to caffeinate myself or stimulate myself. I’ve got two assignments to juggle, a meal to cook and a family to support.

I am absolutely stoked to write!

Today begins NaNoWriMo – 50,000 words of narrative is the target for thirty days. If I am to achieve that, I barely have time to write this announcement. Despite my tendency to sickly burnout, the portent of this challenge is giving me a sick burn. I’ve got a wordcount document already open and a blank slate to fill with my writing splurge. I haven’t even signed up on NaNoWriMo website – maybe it’s too late? I don’t care!

Letsa-GO!

Oh, right! I forgot to say what I’m stoked to write about.

Wasting my time explaining – “Nebulon lineage”

The product of a small vote, a weekend’s careful planning, a night before’s fever dream and some artistic liberties, I’ve decided to write a space-xenofiction (not again!) story about reincarnation. It will be a story spanning any number of lives I get through this month, with much odd glimpses of different working worlds and comings-of-age: basically, just like a fever dream. I’ve already got the first chapter in mind, and I aint telling you yet!

I’ll be releasing this week’s haul on monday as a kind of serial – something to look forward to. But enough talk – to work! To WORK! 6:48, let’s get going.

Have a nice all-saints day, religious or not!
