Focal Character Name – Dolninna the (failed) Dorkok Defender

Background – Some bungled birth prophecy envisioned her as the saviour of her beleaguered warren, but her alliance with the mighty Nodon menace has put her at odds with the rest of the cavern and made a powerful enemy among the vengeful dead. When unsettling dreams propel her along her glowing birth-river on a pilgrimage to the deepest sanctuary of this sun-fearing basin, Dolninna faces marauders and monsters both unfamiliar, yet not dissimilar from terrestrial myth. At nature’s nadir, the dreams only more opaque, the reviled lord must call into question whether her destiny really was godsent or if some enigma has disfigured the order of the delves.

Writing style features (Listless no more):

• Flexible Tense/person perspective – we’ll find one that works.
• Semi-dark fantasy world of monsters and myth. Hardly qualifies as Sci-fi!
• Some very interesting setpieces – calcified cave forests,grand hall-cities and ventablack lakes.
• The most hardcore son of a dog in the works (Ghol).

Manifesto:
